Wildlife photo tours to the Danube Delta and Dobrudja, the places with the highest biodiversity in Europe. The photo tours are led by the professional photographers from our team.

You can customize your tour. Just tell us what are your targets and we’ll suggest you a program, will help to choose the best options.

We provide you:

Specialized guides with very good knowledge about Danube Delta, they all work before with wildlife photographers and they really understand your demands. Our guides knows very well the animals and birds of Danube Delta, they are born here and love nature. Guiding is in English language.

For the Danube Delta:

Specialized boats for photography, stable and secure, special designed for this activity, with waterproof spaces for transporting your equipment. For this activity we use larger boats than usual in order to ensure you a high grade of security for you and your equipment. The high of the boat is 40cm above the water, you’ll see the pelicans “eyes to eyes level”. We can do these tours for up to 4 persons (photographers), on a boat.

We have places for White and Dalmatian Pelicans (roosting places), Grebes, Herons, White Tailed Eagles (also feeding places, for winter), Kingfisher, small birds, Racoon Dog.

We have tents for 1-2 persons and we use it as individual small hides.

For Dobrogea:

We know Dobrogea very well, we know where and when you can take photos of birds and animals, from small camouflage tents. We transport you by car, up to 6 persons and we set your tents on the best places. We do this all over the year, on every season.

In Dobrogea we have very good places for Bee Eaters, Rollers, Sousliks.

Depending on the number of days and number of people in your group, find the price per person in the table. Prices are in Euro, per person and include VAT.

  • Guide, English language
  • Local guesthouse accommodation in en-suite double rooms for the number of selected nights

  • Transfers on water from Tulcea to Mila 23 and back
  • Day trips as you choose, both on Dobrogea (dryland) and on the Danube Delta (wetland).

Airport transfers (optional)

  • Bucharest (including Airport) transfers – 300 euro/car/one way for 1-6 persons;

Example of a program (7d/6n):

Day 1: You will meet the guide in Tulcea, at the hotel, in the afternoon (we’ll send you all the details about the address by email) and have a short meeting to know each other and to inform you about the program for next day. If your program is starting with the Danube Delta, we’ll transfer you to Mila23, to the accommodation place.

Days 2-6: You’ll start very early, according to the program agreed, the guide will taker you to photography places, both on dry or water land. All the time, the boat or car will be in a place where the guide can see you from far away. In the evening you’ll be back to the accommodation place. The lunch can be to go or to the accommodation place (if you choose to do 2 sessions per day, morning and evening, which is very recommended, especially in the hot days).

Day 7: After a relaxed breakfast (8:30 am), this time without sunrise session, you’ll have the transfer back to Tulcea and end the tour.

Personal Equipment

  • Waterproof clothes
  • Comfortable waterproof trekking shoes or boot (sandals in summer)
  • Insect repellents
  • Sun protections (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses).

Photo Equipment

  • Camera
  • Spare batteries and cards
  • Tripod (it’s a must for mobile hides sessions)
  • Waterproof backpack or other bag/case for the equipment

Booking

Bookings are based on 30% deposit. The payment options are: online card payment, bank transfer or Revolut.

The rest of the payment have to be done 30 days before the tour start. If the tour is booked less then 30 days before departure, the full price will be paid.

More then 90 days before the program you can postpone the trip (you will receive a voucher available 2 years). Less then 90 days before the trip, the deposit is not refundable.
