A shared tour for Brown Bears Photo Tour, as an extension to our photo tours to the Danube Delta. For 2 days you can photograph Brown Bears from professional hides and forest birds from drinking pool hide, in Carpathian Mountains, the area in Europe with the largest bears population.
Based on our private Photo Tour to Brown Bears (click on link for details), we subscribe photographers from our Danube Delta Photo Tours, to create a shared group. The final price is the price according to the number of persons subscribed, from the table below.
You’ll have: Specialist guide, 2 days in professional hide for Brown Bears photography, 2 mornings in drinking pool hide for forest birds, accommodation, full board an transfers to/from Transylvania.

Itinerary
Day 1
IF – The extension is before the tour, we’ll pick you up from Bucharest or Brasov and transfer you to Transylvania (5:30 drive).
IF – The extension is after the tour, we’ll transfer you from Tulcea to Transylvania.
Accommodation and dinner to a local guesthouse.
If we have time (daylight), take a short tour to the area in search for wildlife.
Days 2-3
In the morning you’ll enter the BIRDS hide (5 min walk). Come back to the accommodation around 10AM, for breakfast. Some rest, lunch then enter to the BEARS hide til sunset.
Day 4
Breakfast at a convenient hour then transfer to Bucharest/Brasov/Tulcea according to the circumstances.
Bookings
Request a booking implies acceptance of the terms and conditions.
Bookings are based on a 30% deposit of the price of the program.
The rest of the payment have to be done 30 days before the tour start. If the tour is booked less then 30 days before departure, the full price will be paid.
Cancellation Policy:
More then 90 days before the program you can postpone the trip (you will receive a voucher available 2 years). Less then 90 days before the trip, the deposit is non refundable.
Personal Equipment
- Clothes suitable for this activity, for every season apart
- Color of the clothes is also very important. Please bring your clothes in colors more natural, as close to the colors of nature surrounding. Camouflage pattern on brown are best.
- Also, to the hides, noisy clothes (kind of waterproof jackets) are to avoid, use fleece instead.
As photo equipment should bring
Binoculars, photo camera, lenses from wide to tele (400-600mm), tripod(s), enough batteries and memory cards.
