A trekking/hiking tour of three days, to the Mountains around Sibiu, just for birding, with a professional birder guide. The guide knows the places very well, he know where and when to find different species of birds.

Our program includes the services of the guide and transport from Sibiu (you will be picked up from the accommodation) and back. You can choose your favorite accommodation and food. The standard program is with every evening returning to Sibiu.

If you want a tour of several days on the mountain, the guide will provide you the necessary information about the chalets you can reach, but in this case, the guide’s accommodation will also be at your cost.

The program is available all year around!

The price of this tour is:

1200 euro/trip, for 1-4 persons.

The price includes:

  • Guide, ENGLISH language
  • 3 days tours for birding and hiking
  • Transport from Sibiu to the hiking point(s) and back.

The price does NOT include:

  • Food and Drinks.
  • Medical, Travel or Goods Insurance Coverage
  • Services of personal nature (telephone calls, laundry etc.)
  • Porters (also not possible).

Child Policy

  • Minimum age of children to participate in this tour is 12 years.
  • Children (over 12) pay entire price.

Itinerary:

For the standard program, every morning the guide will pick up you from the accommodation in Sibiu City and take you to the point where the hiking will start (usually 1-2, even 3 hours of drive).

The guide will design the route according to the species you want to see (if you send us the target species list in advance). The routes are not extreme but you must have an average physical condition and appropriate mountain equipment.

We have the best team of guides in the area. They are professional guides, birders, involved in nature conservation and nature study research, know exactly what and where to look. They’ll give you all the information you need, both about birds and places you’ll go.

  • Color of the clothes is also very important. Please bring your clothes in colors more natural, as close to the colors of nature surrounding.

Bookings

Request a booking implies acceptance of the terms and conditions.

Bookings are based on a 30% deposit of the price of the program. The payment options are: cash, online card payment bank, transfer or Revolut.

The rest of the payment have to be done 30 days before the tour start. If the tour is booked less then 30 days before departure, the full price will be paid.

Cancellation Policy:

  • More then 60 days before tour you’ll receive a voucher available 2 years;
  • Less then 60 days before the tour, the payment is not refundable.

*Extreme conditions:

  • In case of extreme weather conditions (snow, roads closed) occurred before the start of the tour, the deposit will be returned in full.
  • If these extreme conditions occur during the tour, the price will be lowered only for the remaining part of the program not made.
  • If the travelers come from another country and the extreme conditions occur just before or during the tour, the agency is not obliged to compensate the traveler in any way for expenses related to flights, accommodation or other reasons.
